国际会议的缩写如何查找？ - 知乎

　　写论文的时候发现别人引用ECCV文章的时候，reference里面写的是Proc. Europ. Conf. Comp. Visi(ECCV). 这里面的“Proc. Europ. Conf. Comp. Visi”可以在哪里查到么？

　　第一个办法是从可靠的信息来源上查，例如Web of Science等。【参看此教程】

　　第二个办法是搜索目标期刊上已发表的文章，看看他们的参考文献的格式是什么样的，一般你要引的文章很可能别人也引过，多看几篇也许就能找到。

　　如果搜不到，那也可以用第三个办法，自己动手（适用于电子通信计算机方向）：

　　这有一个IEEE提供的常见缩写查询手册：List of common abbreviated words

　　根据该手册，你自己几乎可以对任意期刊名、会议名进行缩写。个人感觉里边提供的缩写都是比较正式的，可以放心使用。

　　记住一些常用的缩写能大大减少你搜索的次数，能节省很多时间，比如：International - Int.Journal - J.Conference - Conf.Proceedings - Proc.Transaction - Trans.Advanced - Adv.Computing - Comput.Intelligence - Intell.Graphics - Graph.

　　缩写的时候介词和冠词一般省略，比如 the, of, on等等；剩下的单词，挨个查询对应的缩写；查得到的就缩写，查不到的单词就直接写全名。

　　例子：IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence

　　其中on, and被省略；Pattern经过查表无对应缩写，故保留全名；IEEE本身已经是缩写；其余名词都能查到对应缩写。所以缩写的形式是： IEEE Trans. Pattern Anal. Mach. Intell.
